If active termites have been confirmed, prompt treatment is the next step. Our licensed team will tailor a plan based on the species involved and the extent of activity.

Treatment Types

Chemical Application

  • EIdeal for less aggressive species (e.g. Nasutitermes
  • Applied directly to affected areas or nests 
  • Follow-up visit in 2–4 weeks to confirm elimination
Treatment Types for Termites

Above-Ground Baiting Program

  • Best for aggressive or widespread species (e.g. Coptotermes
  • Bait stations installed at key locations 
  • Monitored every 3–4 weeks until colony eradication (several months) 

Your technician will explain the chosen method on the day and answer any questions.

How to Prepare 

  • Don’t disturb the affected area 
  • Ensure access to subfloor, roof void, and any previously inspected zones 
  • If bait stations are installed, do not move or interfere with them 
  • Clean floors and surfaces the day before treatment to avoid interfering with application

Pets and children

  • Please keep pets and children away from treated areas for at least 2 hours, or until all treated surfaces are completely dry 
  • For baiting programs, ongoing supervision is important to ensure baits are not tampered with 

After Treatment

  • Avoid cleaning treated areas for 48 hours unless otherwise instructed 
  • You may notice an increase in activity as the treatment takes effect 
  • Follow-up visits may be scheduled depending on the treatment pathway
